The James Biever Police-Community Alliance believes that strong communities are built on positive police presence and trusted relationships between law enforcement and the people they serve. Through community events and partnerships across Lebanon County, we create opportunities for officers and residents to connect, build relationships, and strengthen the unity we all strive to achieve.
Throughout the year, the Alliance sponsors and supports a variety of events that bring officers and community members together, including:
- Annual Memorial Run – Held on the second Saturday of August, this signature event honors the memory and legacy of Corporal James Biever. The run brings together law enforcement officers, first responders, runners, and community members to raise funds to support the Alliance's mission.
- Cram-A-Cruiser – Held each May, this countywide food drive brings together officers from departments across Lebanon County to collect nonperishable food items for the Lebanon County Christian Ministries Food Bank, demonstrating law enforcement's commitment to serving the community both on and off duty.
- Family Movie Days – Family-friendly events that provide a fun, relaxed environment where children and families can interact with local police officers in a positive, non-threatening setting.
- Coffee with a Cop – Informal gatherings that encourage open conversation between residents and law enforcement over a cup of coffee.
- Pizza with Police – Community events that bring families and officers together to share a meal, ask questions, and build lasting relationships.
- Cops & Candy Canes – A holiday tradition that spreads seasonal cheer while giving officers and community members the opportunity to connect in a festive atmosphere.
